I have a track record of thoughtful leadership in our community.  I ran the Superior Chamber of Commerce as Executive Director for 13 years and, more recently, I served on the Home Rule Commission to develop our Town's Home Rule Charter.

Having lived throughout our Town, I understand there are different challenges in different parts of our community.  I dig into issues to fully understand a problem before coming to a decision. And I'm not afraid to change my mind when new information or feedback is presented.

I'm patient and flexible in my approach with colleagues. I see the value in working together to find the best solution to a problem.  And I believe listening to others' perspectives is an important part of being a thoughtful team player and an effective leader.

I'm a firm believer in doing the right things for the right reasons. I can have the difficult conversations necessary to address an issue, and I do so with honesty and a focus on arriving at an equitable solution. As Mark Twain said, "It is never wrong to do the right thing."

The foundation of any good relationship is respect. Whether that's on the dais with my fellow Trustees, interacting with residents, or working with Town staff. I endeavor to approach each and every interaction with kindness, respect, and the absence of ego because I believe that's the first step in any effective collaboration.
